The Making of a Suncatcher
Everything starts with an idea I think about what I’d love to create and let inspiration flow. I search for images related to the theme and start designing the illustration that will later become vinyl.
This is the longest part of the process, full of small adjustments and redesigns, until it finally looks just the way I imagined.
Once the design is ready, I cut it with my machine. Then comes the second most challenging step: removing all the vinyl I won’t use. It’s very satisfying, but also a bit tricky since I work with lots of tiny details, I have to be careful that nothing sticks to the wrong part.
Finally, I package it on its backing sheet, with the instructions on the back ready to be sent out to bring light and color wherever you place it ૮ – ﻌ • ა
